The first time I visited Pelican Lake was in the 50's. We stayed at Katura Cabins along side of Rt.53 just north of town. Nothing but good memories, plenty of good fishing and wonderful lasting friendships. I recommend vacationing at Pelican Lake if you too would like a great vacation.

I love Orr, Have been coming up here for about 8 years. its a nice little town that you would think of when you think about Northen Minnesota towns. also i love going to see the bears at the Vince Shute wildlife sanctuary. i didn't get to come up for the 4th of july but i will be coming next year-Matt

Pelican Lake has been a #1 vacation destination for our family for over 50 years! We have stayed in almost all the resorts at one time or another and have always enjoyed our stay! In 2010 we will be visiting Birch Forest Lodge the first week in August. We are looking forward to a great week of fishing!
