The fishing on Pelican has been excellent this winter. The slush has firmed up in recent weeks and anglers have been able to get around the lake with ease. Wallleye, Northern Pike and Crappies are biting a little deeper than last month with 20′ being a good depth to start at. Try fishing North of Cope and Peterson Island or near the rock piles North of Island View Resort.
