Bass fishing continues to be strong, particularly for largemouth bass. Soft plastics seem to be working best during the majority of the day with top water lures killing it in the evening and mornings. Rock piles and lily pads have been best for top water lures with weed beds best for casting soft plastics into. Pike continue to hit aggressively on spinner baits, meps spinners and some crank baits. Fire tiger crankbaits was the hot ticket for colors this week. This week multiple anglers reported catching 32 inch plus northern pikes. Walleye fishing has really slowed down but the crappie are still coming in. Lots of bluegills being caught in 6-8 feet of water suspended.
